Ambriel Acres Alpacas is located in the middle Tennessee Valley near the foothills of the scenic Monteagle Mountain of the Southern Cumberland Plateau. We are conveniently situated midway between Chattanooga and Nashville. Established in 2006, our ranch is a family run business that focuses on breeding huacaya alpacas of color with great fiber.

The herd is visited at least twice a day for feedings, clean up and lots of attention. We have automatic waterers installed so nobody goes without fresh water. In addition to keeping our animals current with vaccines, nail trimmings and worming, as a small ranch we have opportunities to work with each animal on halter and lead. Our alpacas are closely guarded by our two Maremma LGD's and are acclimated to our four house dogs and one cat who roam the acreage.

The herdsire on our farm is the legendary 4Peruvian Wira Cocha. Wira Cocha is one of only two males brought from the Quenamari region of Peru in the 1996 importation. This male stamps his offspring with dense, well defined crimped fleece and is the sire of many award winning offspring. He was formerly one of the most prized herdsires of Mariah Alpacas and the late Earlah Swift, who was an early “pioneer” in the U.S. alpaca industry and worked tirelessly and lovingly to create a superior North American herd.

He is proudly owned by us here at Ambriel Acres Alpacas. Having this distinguished herdsire will solidify our breeding program and enable us to continue our mission of producing the very best alpacas with exceptional fleece.
